The incident occurred in the Seven Lakes community, where nails, screws, and J-hook screws were scattered on the driveways of two HOA officials. The affected individuals, the president and treasurer of the Seven Lakes Landowners Association, discovered the debris Saturday morning.
Officials believe the vandalism may be connected to a recent HOA budget meeting. During the meeting, a proposed $100 annual fee increase was discussed and later shared with residents via email.
The Moore County Sheriff’s Office has launched an investigation. Authorities have asked for community help in identifying the person responsible for placing the screws and nails.
