Why a Homeowners Association?
Have you given up on your homeowners association management company? As a homeowner, living in an HOA truly is beneficial. Most people desire to have relationships with others, it is important for people to feel a sense of belonging. What better way to meet people than in your neighborhoods where you feel safe and at home? Growing up, my family lived in a nice neighborhood where the children could run around and play after school and during long summer days. This is where I made some of my lifelong friendships.
As kids, we had the best imaginations, everyday after school we played a game called “lost kids”, we would pretend we were orphans and had to find places to sleep and protect ourselves from the outside world. Luckily, that was just a game. We would always go home and eat dinner with our families in a place we could call home. Once the kids in the neighborhood made friends with each other, the parents would begin reaching out.. Our families would take vacations together and have cookouts for the block. I am grateful for that experience and I realize now that none of that could have happened without living in a community. Our homeowners association took the time to head up community events and assure our neighborhood a closeness that is unforgettable.
With that being said, homeowners associations are important. The problem is that some HOAs have to spend their time making sure dues are being paid and common areas are being maintained. They have to focus on the financials and concrete part of management, when they really need to focus on bringing the community together. Thankfully, there is a solution to this problem, Cedar Management Group. We are dedicated to our clients and hope to see every community being the best it can be. We handle the daily aspects of managing an HOA. We collect dues, send out violations, and prepare vendors for maintenance issues. Cedar allows Board member to spend their time on things that matter, by paying the bills and keeping up with every other aspect of association management. Let us take care of your community and allow your kids to grow into lifelong friendships, who knows maybe the same will happen for you.
