A Raleigh condo fire has resulted in the displacement of two residents, according to officials. The cause of the fire remains unknown as fire officials continue to investigate the matter.
Raleigh Condo Fire Investigations Underway
Fire officials said a condo building in Raleigh experienced a fire last Wednesday evening, leading to two individuals losing their homes.
The Raleigh Fire Department received a call around 5:33 p.m., prompting firefighters to respond to the 1200 block of Capability Drive. The fire originated in the middle unit of a five-row complex.
The crews’ efficient actions controlled the fire in less than 30 minutes. The extent of the damage was confined to the balcony and attic areas of the affected unit.
Fortunately, no one was present in the condo during the incident. However, according to statements from the fire department, two residents have been displaced as a result.
Approximately 30 firefighters were involved in responding to the incident. As per official reports, the fire is currently deemed accidental. Investigations into its cause are ongoing.
