Madison Condo Fire
A two-alarm Madison condo fire prompted the firefighters at the Nashville Fire Department to respond to the crisis. The fire took place at 225 Ellington Place on Sunday, July 14, 2024. It sounded a second alarm due to the heat. Crews were able to respond to the alarms just before 3:00 p.m.
Fortunately, the firefighters were able to contain the flames to two out of six units. However, they had to cut the power to the entire building. No injuries were reported and the fire is currently under investigation. Meanwhile, the fire department said they rehabbed and rotated the responding firefighters.
Regardless of the cause, fire safety should be a priority for residential communities.
