The president of a homeowners association in Tennessee confronts a few teens seen fishing in a private lake. In a viral video, he snaps the 15-year-old boy’s $200 fishing rod.
Meltdown After Fishing in Private Lake
Two young men were fishing in a private lake in the Admirals Landing neighborhood when an irate Tennessee man charged at one of them. The man grabbed the young man’s fishing rod and snapped it over his knee. This whole debacle was filmed and posted on TikTok. According to the caption, the rod is described as a $200 St. Croix fishing pole.
The friend filming the encounter, who has a famous fishing account named Fishn_Shi on TikTok, told the man not to touch his rod. However, the man began to yell at the boy filming, saying he was trespassing. The boy says they are waiting for law enforcement because the man threatened them. Nevertheless, the man tells him to leave and threatens to throw a phone into the lake.
Some other adult residents back up the man from behind. The man says they are fishing in a private lake and repeatedly tells them to “get out of here.” He also states he will prosecute them, and they will pay “all kinds of money.”
In the background, one of the residents speaks and suggests the man is the HOA president. She also says he knows everyone and has lived in the neighborhood for years. Meanwhile, the boy says they live in Tennessee but does not specify where.
Viral Video Response
The caption implies the man who confronted the two young men was drunk. Many other users agree the man seemed intoxicated. Other social media influencers, including Michael McWhorter, also known as TizzyEnt on TikTok, chimed in. Collin Rugg, another social media personality with over 1.2 million followers, also shared the video.
