Commercial Management Support
At Cedar Management Group, we take a team-based approach to commercial management. This means that instead of having a traditional model of a single manager, each of our Property Managers receive the support of our accounting, maintenance, and support teams. We have found this to be the most successful way to ensure our communities receive the most attention from management and that managers have the time to focus on responding to and anticipating issues before they happen.
Our fully trained Community Support Team is available to handle and track all information requests, such as phone calls and emails, from owners. They also handle daily administrative tasks and architectural applications, as well as the issuance of passes, keys, and coordination of vehicle parking.
Board of Director Education
Quarterly, Cedar Management Group also offers education for your board of directors led by our Senior Property Managers so they are given the best tools for holding effective board meetings and making community decisions.
With our team-based model, our maintenance coordinators are able to monitor received work orders immediately and follow them from beginning to end. This increases response and completion time through our maintenance tracking system, plus allows staff to be available 24/7 in emergencies. In addition, for each of our communities we maintain a maintenance profile that allows us to know the preferred vendors for each association.
We perform property inspections, landscape walks, and violation monitoring regularly throughout Maintenance and Field Support Staff to make sure all CC&R’s and Rules and Regulations are being followed in the association.
Most of the financial duties of the community are managed by our experienced accounting team, who are available to provide process unit sales, closing documents, and all financial aspects of the management process. Further following our team-based approach, accountants will assist community managers in the collections process.
At Cedar, we know that accurate reporting on the status of an association is crucial. We will help you stay on track by generating your commercial association’s financial statements each month and sending them out through email to your board of directors. Our team will also assist with drafting of the community budget for approval and provide financial training, as applicable, to board members.
We provide an assessment solution system that allows homeowners to pay through our Cedar Management Group website for credit cards and online payments or Automatic Clearing House (ACH Draft) payments. We will also follow your policy on collecting assessments, including foreclosure initiation and lien processes, as strictly as your board requires.
