Firefighters battled another two-alarm fire at Rosslyn Condo. This is the second day in a row that firefighters had to deal with a fire at the same condominium building.
Two-Alarm Fire at Rosslyn Condo
On Monday morning (May 6, 2024), firefighters had to fight a vehicle fire at the parking garage of the Atrium Condominium. It is located at 1530 Key Boulevard. However, another fire broke out — this time in the garage area. The electrical fire prompted a second alarm to help extinguish the fire. Firefighters were also called to stop the ventilated smoke from the condominium.
In addition, the firefighters waited for the arrival of Dominion to turn off the building’s fire. Key Boulevard was subsequently closed to traffic due to the emergency response. The fire was out by 10:30 in the morning on May 7, 2024. However, smoke ventilation continued despite extinguishing the fire at Rosslyn Condo, according to ACFD.
